Bronze Dodo Bronze Dodo by Clee Richeson
This dodo is modelled after one on the postcard Howard Waldrop gave me once somewhere in England. The artist is Clee Richeson. She also sculpted and 8-foot-tall sculpture of Dan Simmons's Shrike -- a thorny frightening character from his four Hyperion/Endymion novels -- that "stands guard" over a mountain cabin at the base of the Continental Divide where the author does much of his writing.

Howard Waldrop Mask Mask of Howard Waldrop
I won this life mask of Howard Waldrop at an ArmadilloCon charity auction. Another variation up for auction was a bust of Howard with a clock embedded in its chest. A bunch of us bid and won it so we could present it to Bradley and Barbara Denton as their wedding gift. It was meant to sit on a mantlepiece. I'm certain it still resides in the Denton household today.
